hello,

I have a dual boot system (Vista/Xp) and I need to edit the bootloader in order to delete the second OS from the start menu;
I should use bcdedit tool, so I go to the command prompt and type bcedit but access is denied; no command is accepted except the command list.
I access from an administrator account.
What am I missing??...

this might help you. i was thinking more along the lines of just removing the one partition but..read up on this and see if helps.

...very plan...but I have no Vista installation cd or dvd...

Also I tried to type from the command prompt but nothing happens (unrecognized command)...

...other suggestions?
