I only have 1 partition on the drive, and its NTFS. No but I have given it some thought. The only problem is that I don't have Linux... I tested it on another pc, and form on then it said that I have to format it before I could use it...
Now as you yourself might know that formatting is NOT an option, as my whole database of movies/music/pics are stored in this terabyte.
I will try the Linux cd, I just hope it works.
PS. Device manager picks it up, as does Disc manager,: Reports a healthy NTFS partition in good order, but it simply continues to say: Access is denied, when I try to access it in any way...

Lol, I just cant believe it..., here Im going frantic , and meanwhile the answer's staring me in the face... duh: Seagate File Recovery...!
